  How to Care for Paintings

Each painting I do is with acrylic paint and is varnished to protect it from light and wear.

Keep them indoors. (Must be kept out of prolonged exposure to heat and out of humidity and rain.)  Keep them out of direct sunlight.  Don't hang them in bathrooms.  Shower steam would have a negative impact on them.  Don't hang over a stove or oven.  The heat would also be negative to them.  They are ready to hang on a wall.  To store, cover with a towell or blanket to protect from scratches.

If a painting becomes dirty, simply wipe with a soft, wet cotton cloth. Very lightly. If
this does not remove the spot, add a drop of hand diswashing soap and scrub very
gently.  A hard scrub or scrape will remove the varnish and paint.

  How to Care for Drawings

Each drawing is sprayed with a varnish to protect against smudges.  Treat them with a delicate nature so as to not damage them.  Rough treatment will produce smudges and tears.

Keep them incased in frames with glass or plexiglass to protect against damage and dirt.  They are not lightfast and will yellow with exposure to direct sunlight.  Keep them out of direct sunlight.  Keep them away from intense heat and humidity.  (Over a stove or oven, or in a bathroom. )
