How to Care for Paintings
Each painting I do is with acrylic paint and is varnished to protect it from light and wear.
Keep them indoors. (Must be kept out of prolonged exposure to heat and out of humidity and rain.) Keep them out of direct sunlight. Don't hang them in bathrooms. Shower steam would have a negative impact on them. Don't hang over a stove or oven. The heat would also be negative to them. They are ready to hang on a wall. To store, cover with a towell or blanket to protect from scratches.
If a painting becomes dirty, simply wipe with a soft, wet cotton cloth. Very lightly. If this does not remove the spot, add a drop of hand diswashing soap and scrub very gently. A hard scrub or scrape will remove the varnish and paint.
